My first time off the East Coast! Prior to this, the most west I’ve ever been was Ohio. I know, not at all west. It was so fun getting to explore the desert especially when it was cold and wintery back home on the East Coast. I flew out to Tempe for a writing conference that was part of the course I’ve been completing to finish a book.
