I spent the week working on my soon-to-be office, which involved clearing out a bunch of old papers and furniture from a space that was a spare room in the house. We had an old computer that didn’t even work anymore and a bunch of old tests from when I was in elementary school (I had some serious problems with spelling). As a treat and kind of as a spur of the moment, I went to Charleston, South Carolina on Thursday (blog post to come on that). That’s my week, and ...
I’ve spent this week working on my current project, meeting with my mentor, and trying to keep my head on straight while I move forward onto the next couple of chapters. But despite that craziness, I’ve been excited to shoot this week’s outfits. I’ve been staring at these clothes folded up in my closet, just waiting for the nice, warm summer day that would be perfect for shooting in. Subjectively, and a little bit objectively, these are the perfect summer looks.
This week I spent a lot of time writing both on my blog and on my books. It was a week spent bent over the computer and kind of feeling like I was still in school with all the work I did. I also did some planning of my summer, including vacations and goals (that blog post will be live next week). Here’s what I wore this week while doing all of this.
I’ve been told that I have a really addictive personality. Usually, that manifests in obsessively playing some iPhone game that’s aesthetically pleasing (right now I’m obsessed with Ballz by Ketchapp). But now my addictive personality has me obsessing over something else: this color blue. Whatever you want to call it—light blue, millennial blue, dusty blue—I’m currently loving it. So much, I might just be wearing it all summer!
