Style Roundup: 5 Ways to Bloom in Floral

Outfit Details: Dress

Is there anything more characteristic to spring than florals? I don’t think so. With all the new blooms, it’s time to take a hint from nature and use these gorgeous details in our wardrobe. Florals brighten everything up and I’m looking forward to bright sunny days and bright fun florals. I couldn’t resist this pretty poppy wrap dress when I saw it in store. It’s was hanging up on a display and I think I said out loud, “This is SO cute!” and immediately went for it. But the decision to buy it was so hard, not deciding whether or not I was going to buy it because that was obvious. But I had to decide which print I wanted. That’s right, this pretty wrap dress comes in a ton more prints. Lots of florals of different colors and species as well as a brightly colored striped print. I’m thinking now that I bought this one, I might have to go back for the others. Because this is one dress I’m pretty sure I’ll be wearing all spring. Not convinced on florals just yet? Here’s five more ways to wear florals in spring.

How sweet is this floral wrap skirt? I love all the details that make this skirt the most adorable piece for spring. The wrap and the ruffles. The light blue floral print. The lace dot detailing the runs against the seams. On their own, they’re adorable but together they create the cutest skirt I’ve seen this season. The floral print stands out while still being a little subtle. So if you want to incorporate your florals little by little, this is a great skirt to start with. Paired with shades of blue, this outfit is like the spring sky and perfect for a casual day spent under it. A weekend picnic is this outfit’s best friend.

Fill this straw bag with the prettiest flowers before heading back into town for dinner. This outfit is the cutest for easy spring days and nights. Day activities like wine tasting or leisurely walks. Night activities like dinner at a new restaurant you’ve had your eye on. This daisy printed bag incorporates florals in a subtle way. But it’s so cute, you’ll be getting questions about it every time you take it out.

Ice cream, sun, surf, and a day of fun activities all looking cute in this adorable floral dress. I am loving the ruffle sleeves on this dress and I’m imagining them blowing in an ocean breeze on a cool, late spring day. With the tropical details in the bag and sandals, the beach is practically calling you and booking a ticket to paradise. It’s bright and light all spring with fun colors like pink! I really can’t think of any color that’s more indicative of spring and I am wanting to incorporate it as much as I can. So your outfit doesn’t feel too overpowered—although I’m not sure there’s such thing as too much pink—wear this color in little details and leave your main piece a little more neutral. Like a white dress surrounded by pink florals. The tennis shoes and bag are pretty to throw on for a casual day at a festival. And scarf ponies are so in right now. Do up your best Pinterest inspired hair and tie this pretty pink scarf around a fishtail braid and be bright front and back.

This dress is so cute on it’s own that with these accessories, it’s almost too good to be true. I have these shoes and I wore them on repeat all last year until the weather got too cold to have my toes out. And I cannot get enough of these earrings! How unique are these and so quintessential of summer. As if you need another reason to buy a pair of hoops. This outfit is perfect for any spring day!
