So the whole “no white after labor day” thing . . . When does that reset? Well, I’m going to say the new year is the best time to start wearing white (that is, if you’ve even stopped). I think rules are meant to be broken and I say wear white all year ’round. There’s too many cute pieces to give up for some antiquated rule.
I’m absolutely loving this cute tunic (worn as a dress, of course). I just can’t stop wearing tops as dresses, thanks shortness. This dress’s flowing, draping silhouette adds a slight boho twist that anyone can pull off. No desert required.
I think it goes absolutely perfectly with a mid-toned denim jacket. The blue adds that pop of color to an otherwise plain, white look. Whether you tie it around your waist or wear it, a jacket added to this tunic dress is the way to go.
White boots have also been just about everywhere recently. Lace up and regular ankle boots alike, white boots are the perfect way to add a statement to your look without going overboard. With an all white outfit or the one neutral in your colorful look, white boots are your best bet.
Breaking up the white just slightly is this felt, wide-brimmed hat, which seals the boho deal. I love added a hat when it feels like outfits need a little something extra. They can take an outfit from boring to interesting so easily. And
this particular hat is universal. Coming in a ton of colors, there’s one for every outfit.
Casual and basic, this dress the perfect piece to make any outfit your own. Let this dress be the center and build a look around it. Whether you want to swing a tad boho like this look or want be more street style with a leather jacket and moto boots or classic wearing a sweater with the collar poking out and a pair of mules. This dress could fit in everyone’s wardrobe.
