Chapter Fifteen Picks: Coziest Sweaters

It’s sweater weather season! Time to grab your chunky knits and cozy pullovers and cuddle up against the crisp cool air. Perfect for layering over tops and dresses or throwing on with a pair of jeans for a quick, cute, casual outfit. I love this one in the photo for fall! It’s so warm without being too heavy and the stars give a cute little statement details. By the way, the stars are chenille! So soft for a little extra something. Paired this sweater with a cute button front skirt and ankle booties to go apple picking. Such an easy look all season! So here are fifteen sweaters I am absolutely loving for the fall!

  1. Bobby Boyfriend Striped Crew-Neck Sweater • Stripes are a must this season. One of the easiest ways to create interest in an outfit is to wear bold colored stripes. This particular sweater utilizes fall’s warm tones in a classic striped blocked pattern. I’d wear this with some dark wash denim and brown knee-high boots. This cute sweater also comes in three other color options. Live in this through all the cold weather for $69.00
  2. Austin Mock Neck Cable Knit Sweater • A classic sweater for the cold months, this cable knit just scream hot chocolate on a snowy day. The thick knit will no doubt keep you warm through all the blistering months. If you must wear bottoms with this, I’d pair it with a classic plaid skirt and black over the knee boots. Comes in seven more fun colors for $59.00*
  3. Brenta Cowl Neck Pullover • This sweater is the perfect basic! Easily to pair with everything, easy to layer over jeans or under a vest. You could even throw it over a flannel and let some plaid peek through. That’s exactly what I would do. Pair this with a black and white, grid-print plaid and a black denim skirt. With black tights and ankle boots, the look is complete. Not loving lavender? This sweater comes in seven more colors including a bright rose pink, gold, red, and dark gray all for $98
  4. Fluffy Fox Sweater • First of all, I love this color. Aptly named “Caramel Dream” this color is a real-life dream come true. Such a deep, rich orange to stand out among all the neutral grays and whites of the cold months. And, honestly, I love the way they styled this monochromatic look with a skirt of the same color paired with this sweater. Add a pair of dark camel boots and this look is perfect. This sweater also comes in five more colors! Be the coziest for $148.00
  5. Bobble Dashwood V-Neck Sweater • I will always fall in love with any sweater with pompoms on it and this one is no exception. Every year, the pompoms return and every year I’m incredibly happy about it. And they aren’t the only cute feature of this sweater! I also love the bubble sleeves that add interest to and otherwise plain white sweater. This sweater will instantly make you the snowball queen! Be cozy and cute in these little pompoms for $88
  6. Chunky Jacquard Sweater • This sweater makes me want to hang out in a lodge and I don’t even know how to ski! Love the classic jacquard print around the neck of the sweater. Worn with a classic pair of jeans and leather boots. Add a peacoat over it and chunky knit hat and mittens and you have the most classic, cold weather look out there. Also comes in a purple/gray color combination for $69.00
  7. Oversized Colorblock Sweater • Gray skies and dull weather doesn’t mean your look has to be. I love cold-weather clothes that aren’t afraid to have fun. And this bright lilac definitely does the trick! Against the white snow and gray skies, you’ll stand out in this colorblock sweater. Add a white denim skirt and light tan boots and you’re ready to take your role as best-cold weather dressed. Look lovely in lilac for $29.00
  8. Finley Chevron Turtleneck Sweater • Another classic sweater, this time I’m getting visions of pine trees and moose. Not sure why. I guess this gives me another lodge feel but this time in your own how, by the fireplace, with hot chocolate, s’mores, and a good book next to you. Oh, and don’t forget the fuzzy socks. That’s all! This is a no pants look! Live life cozy for $69.00
  9. Grandpa Crew Neck Sweater • This reminds of the sweaters I took borrowed from my grandpa. Honestly, I love big cozy menswear sweaters when the temperature starts to fall. Don’t worry, he laughs and says it looks better on me so no way am I giving mine back any time soon. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my grandpa sweaters that here’s a golden opportunity for a new one. Show in the photo is the Maplewood combo but it comes in three others so I’m sure you’ll find your favorite. Splurge a little on cozy for $148.00
  10. Cardiff Checkerboard Crewneck Sweater • How cool is this sweater! I love fun, different pieces that’ll make statements that aren’t too loud. This sweater is just that. You’ll definitely get compliments on a sweater this bold. I love how they paired it with a matching flannel. The only change I’d make? A denim skirt, of course. With a pair of black tights, leather ankle boots, and a black newsboy cap, you’ll have a classic look with a modern twist. Make a statement in the cold for $98.00
  11. Boatneck Button-Shoulder Sweater • This navy is perfect to play with pairing colors. From a vibrant orange to a bold pink, just about everything will look good with this sweater. I love the sleeves on this one as well, again, the bubble sleeve adding a bit of interest. I’d layer this with a printed bold blouse and matching skirt with knee-high boots to finish off the look. This sweater also comes in the colors antique cream and heather earth for $98
  12. Princess V-Neck Sweater • This sweater looks like something you could so easily sink into. Like you put it on and you’re instantly cozy. Worn either off the shoulder or bundled up. Either way, you’re still cute and cozy. I’d wear this French-tucked into a brown leather skirt, a pair of sheer tights and combat boots to mix soft and rough completes the look. Comes in three other colors: camel, sage, and currant jelly for $108.00
  13. Relaxed Sweater in Contrast Fluffy Knit Stripe • This is the sweater to wear to start sneaking in the holidays early. And then wear it the entire holiday season. The perfect sweater to throw on to spend the day gift shopping and then come back and bake cookies, eating some of the dough before it makes it into the oven. (I mean, cookie dough is sometimes better than the cookies) Throw this sweater on over a pair of jeans, slip on some ankle boots and you’re ready to go. Be bright for $43.00
  14. Aruna Turtleneck Sweater • I love sweaters that have a unique factor to them. This sweater with the fringe on the bottom is just up my alley. Not only that, but it looks extremely cozy! I’m seeing this paired with a corduroy skirt so that the textures can play off each other. With some dainty gold jewelry and heeled ankle booties, this look would be complete. Comes in three more colors for $118.00
  15. Truly Madly Deeply Caroline Stripe Sweater • A fun colorful sweater that could be worn all through the season. I love the stripes on the sleeve and the color block body. Wear this sweater with a brown leather skirt and brown boots for the perfect on the go look. Add a beret and cozy accessories for the really cold days. Be cozy through the cold for $69.00
