In My Cart 9/10
I’m in full fall shopping mode right now. Fall transitional style is all about the corduroy, suede, and cozy knits. And, as you can see from what’s in my cart, I’m just loving the warm neutral tones like tans and browns and bold autumn colors like red and orange. All six of these pieces are great building blocks for a fall wardrobe! Here’s what’s sitting in my cart this week:
The jumper is perfect for layering: either a knit sweater or long sleeve turtleneck underneath. And that’s what fall is all about: layering. I love the color blocking, especially since it’s two bold colors like orange and red. Black tights and booties complete the look. Hair pulled up in a ponytail with a cute red scrunchi makes the outfit cute and casual.
This suede skirt is a bit of a splurge, but it’s so cute, you’ll wear it all fall and winter and definitely get your money’s worth. This dress immediately went into my cart because it’s such a standout piece. The side clasps and mini slit make this such a unique skirt and a perfect addition to any closet. Worn with an oversized sweater that gets tucked into the side. Finish off the outfit with over the knee boots.
What couldn’t you wear this sweater with? A leather skirt? Yes! Dark wash jeans? Yes! Layered under a jumper? Yes, yes, yes! This is honestly the sweater that keeps on wearing. It comes in two other colors, but this taupe is my favorite of the three. The color is that warm neutral that goes with everything in the fall. Pair this with mules and you’ve got the cutest fall look.
Scalloping and pink may not immediately scream fall! But just because the weather is cooling doesn’t mean the colors of your wardrobe have to as well. This suede skirt would standout amongst all the tans, beiges, and creams this fall. It’s not a super bright shade and the faded pink would work well with all those neutral fall colors. A black mock neck, black tights, and black boots make the whole outfit!
Honestly, as soon as I saw this beret, I was OBSESSED! I’m not a huge hat person but I’ve been experimenting with more accessories and this is just the cutest thing for both fall and winter. This beret comes in a ton of colors including blue, camel, black, gray, and pink (just to name a few). That means you can surely find an outfit to wear this with. It’s in my cart and I already know what I’m going to wear it with: a plaid skirt, black turtleneck, and booties.
Just the most perfect basic fall skirt. Corduroy perfect for fall, check! A color that goes with everything, check! And pockets, check! Like, could this be any more perfect of a skirt? It’s a basic in the simplest form. Seriously, such a good skirt to build an outfit around. A basic V-neck tee, cozy knit cardigan, mules, and dainty jewelry will create a stunning, casual fall outfit.
