Color Crushing on Deep, Dark Green
Well, my favorite color is green so I am so excited that deep greens are ruling fall. Hunter, kelly, forest, olive, I could go on. I’m here for every shade of deep, dark green, on everything from dresses to skirts to field jackets. It’s the perfect for fall as the leaves turn red and orange and yellow. And it’s a great basic to build on as it goes with all the fall neutrals. I mean, imagine a hunter blouse under a camel peacoat and dark jeans. Or a forest green suede skirt and a cream colored sweater. From little pops to major statements, deep, dark green is the color you should incorporate into your fall wardrobe.
Drape Front Suede Jacket
Obviously, love the color. But I love suede for fall. It’s cozy without being too heavy, which also makes it easy to layer with. This jacket is so perfect to throw over any outfit on the way out the door. It’s easily convertible so it can be worn with any outfit and just about any style and be a statement on any fall day.
Where it with . . .
A denim mini with a detailed white tank or tee and white ankle booties.
Pocket Button-Front Skirt
You know I love a cute skirt! This style is timeless, the button front transcends seasons and years. Probably because it’s so easy to pair up. A skirt like this is flattering on anyone with any body shape. Easy to layer and easy to wear all season. Great for a fall casual day of fun! And, hello, pockets! Could it be more perfect?
Wear it with . . .
A warm-toned striped sweater and brown over the knee boots.
Mock Neck Tee Dress
Not sure there’s anything I love more than a put on and go dress. And this is one of them. Just throw it on, add a couple pieces for styling and you’re ready to look absolutely fab all day. This is basic to build your closet around because it’s easy to layer in the fall and winter but can be worn alone in the spring and summer.
Wear it with . . .
A jean jacket, decorative scarf, and mules.
Slingback Heels
First of all, how cool are these? These are the kind of shows you walk around in and know they look good. Clogs are an amazing fall shoe because if you’re not ready to give up your sandals, you get to have a little foot out with a clog while still closing the toe. They go with just about every look and are easy to slip on and wear all day. The fact they’re this gorgeous green is just a plus!
Wear it with . . .
Dark wash jeans and a cream chunky knit sweater.
Kimono Sleeve Jumpsuit
I’m already envisioning the date nights, concerts, and happy hours you can wear this jumpsuit to. Like, this jumpsuit is stunning for any dressy event. Flowy and comfortable, you won’t feel constricted but the long sleeves and pants will block out the cooling air. No matter where it’s worn to, this jumpsuit is sure to turn many heads.
Wear it with . . .
Leopard, leopard, leopard!
Textured Wrap Top
If there’s one thing I love in colder weather, it’s oversized tops. That’s exactly what you get here, but with the added detail of a wrap style. I’m loving every other detail besides the wrap, including the tied bow and the bell sleeves. The perfect mix of classic and fun, this top will no doubt become a fall closet staple.
Wear it with . . .
Corduroy flare pants and wooden heeled clogs.

Cozy Lace Henley
Talk about a shirt perfect for layering! How cute is the lace going to look peeking out from underneath a jacket and keeping cozy under a cardigan? It’s also thin enough to easily tuck into any pair of pants or skirt or even layer it under a jumper. Seriously, the possibilities with this top are endless!
Wear it with . . .
Pinafore jumper and cute sneakers.
So Soft Cozy Peacoat
This coat is making me long for cold weather just so I can cuddle up in this! A peacoat this soft will never want to come off even on the warmer days, even when indoors. This coat can be worn through fall and into winter since it’s lined. It’ll no doubt keep you warm. No doubt, it’ll be your go-to coat for all the cold weather days.
Wear it with . . .
A turtleneck sweater dress, tights, and statement boots.
Oversized V Neck Sweater
Is there anything more idiosyncratic of fall as oversized sweaters? I know that’s what I look forward to as the weather cools down. I love throwing a sweater on in the morning and being able to cuddle up all day. This is the perfect sweater to do just that in. Throw it over your jeans, throw it over your skirts and enjoy your day of fall time fun.
Wear it with . . .
A shirt dress and oxfords.
Utility Wrap Jacket
These are my favorite kinds of jackets, honestly. I have two: one that was my grandma’s that I always get compliments on and one I got from Target that I always get compliments on. It’s cute and useful for those transitional days where it’s cool but not cold. And it instantly makes you look like you have everything together. Only downside? Should you button it up or leave it undone so everyone can see your outfit? (Obvi the latter!)
Wear it with . . .
Chord skirt, light sweater, and cute booties.
Wide Leg Pleated Pants
I’m not a pants person—I’m a very loyal dress and skirt wearer—but these are so cool. I love the structure of the pleats; it makes the pants instantly look put together with every outfit. A blouse, a turtleneck, a sweater, even a tee. Dressed up or dressed down, worn to the office or worn to drinks, these pants are the perfect statement piece.
Wear it with . . .
A blouse layered under a sweater and a pair of mules.

Corduroy Skirt
This is the kind of skirt I plan to rock all fall and winter. Classically fall in an updated color. Corduroy is such a staple for fall and having it in as many forms as possible is the best way to build a cold weather wardrobe. I especially like that this particular skirt is high waisted, which makes it great for tucking; long sleeves shorts tucked all the way in or thick knit sweaters French tucked in the front.
Wear it with . . .
A mock neck or turtleneck blouse, duster cardi, and ankle boots.
Anthropologie Arizona Booties
Did you know in high school, one of my senior superlatives was being known for wearing boots? True story! So trust me when I say that these are the perfect boots for fall. A classic Chelsea boot style with an updated twist of velvet and the gorgeous moss color. An understated statement shoe, these booties are perfect for just about every outfit. If fifty-eight other seniors can trust me to be the boot expert, you can too!
Wear it with . . .
Dark wash jeans, a camel knit sweater, and a blanket scarf.
Mock Button Mini Skirt
I’m literally obsessed with this skirt. The structure of it is a little asymmetrical, the buttons down the side, and of course the color. Need I even mention that at this point? It’s so cute for both fall and winter that it’s practically in my bag with approximately seven different pairings in my mind. This skirt could be styled a million different ways and still look just as cute as the last.
Wear it with . . .
A basic tee, cute cardi, and knee-high boots.
Corduroy Mini Overall Dress
Overalls are having such a moment right now and I don’t think we should let that moment stop as the season changes. Over the summer, it was all about denim overalls, but as we transition into fall, transition your overalls into corduroy. The best thing about dresses like this is that they’re so easy to play around with layers. Plus this one has pockets so it could be any better?
Wear it with . . .
A fun sweater and booties.

Style Roundup: 5 Ways to Look Classic in Plaid •
September 28, 2018 at 3:39 pm[…] Green is one of my favorite colors for fall! This deep, dark color is gorgeous against the warm tones. Especially when green plaid isn’t as common as the warm tones, this dress would be different. I love this shirt dress alone as well as with a sweater. This collegiate-styled sweater thrown over this cute dress creates a cozy look that’s a mix of classic and preppy. Let the dress collar stick out from under the sweater and fold the cuffs of for a finished look. Two ways to wear your hair: down and pushed back with the silk scarf as a headband or in a high ponytail with this ribbon scrunchie. I’m also loving these white boots (can you say major fall trend) to keep this look modern, trendy, and chic. […]
