Style Roundup: 5 Dreamy Denim Looks
I’m an avid believer in brunch. And this look makes me want a mimosa. On their own, each piece is simple, but they come together to make a casual look with lots of stunning details. This denim dress is too cute with the ruffles on the shoulders of this jumper style piece—my weakness! I love how perfectly it lends to layering. Hair pulled up into a curled ponytail to let the earrings—which also come in six more colors— shine, and you’re off to brunch with a signature look.

Little bit of a story time, I took this poetry class in college and one of the assignments was to analyze our own work for themes. Turns out, one of the themes I use over and over in all of my writing is stars. I guess I have a weird fascination with them that transcends from the page to clothing. I’m loving this black star blouse that’s a basic with a little something extra. I’m not a jeans person, but I love this pair from J.Crew! The high waisted and statement buttons are to die for. Tuck in the star blouse and throw on some silver accessories and these adorable black heels and you have a perfect transitional outfit.

Stripped sweaters are everywhere this late winter season. And how can you not fall for this fun trend with the bright colors and playful pattern? I love how the stripes are a raised ribbed for an extra bit of detail to make a colorful statement. The combination of this cozy, slightly-oversized sweater and this classically 70s-styled denim skirt is stunningly simple but packs a big punch. The modern accessories like the round, red bag, gold hoops, suede mules—that come in six other colors—and wide-brimmed hat make a perfect casual day look.

If there’s one color that doesn’t seem to be going anyway, it’s this pretty blush pink. It’s everywhere from clothing to furniture to accessories and as spring moves closer, this color will be one that’s absolutely everywhere. Blue denim compliments this color so well. This jacket thrown over a flowy tunic-styled dress and paired with rose gold accessories and chunky slingback heels, this dress is perfect for a sunny weekend with friends.

Gray is a winter staple but there’s no need for it to be drab and boring the way that winter days can be. These gray pieces are fun and chic, basics apart but as fierce as a storm together. I love how this outfit plays with texture with the silk scarf, suede shoes and skirt, leather purse, denim shirt, and tassel earrings. Wavy hair pulled up in a half up, half down style and this can make any day a little less blah.
